Calke Park - Sunday 29 September 2024

East Midlands League Event

About this event

Come along for a great day out at ‘the unstately stately home’ – as the National Trust describe Calke Abbey‘s 1950s interiors. The parkland makes for fast and varied orienteering with beautiful mixed parkland and mature woodland featuring protected oaks and sweet chestnuts. Some undergrowth in places, but extensive path network.

There’ll be something for all the family at this event, with a Maze and parking in the main car park, next to the stables and café.

Please note that non-members of the National Trust need to pay the full park entrance fee of £7.50 for adults and £3.75 for children. As a result of this, we have made all junior runs free of charge, but we do still ask that you pre-enter to help us with map numbers. (The Final Details – below – will reflect this when Version 2 is posted.)
