Calke
Well, despite what the weather forecasters had
predicted the rain held off. 30 (ish!) orienteers took the
risk of the weather and braved the nettles of Calke
Park. Listeners and readers of local
Derby news knew the house and gardens had been closed earlier in the week but
by Friday the park at least was open.
The event seemed to go quite well and Jen and I would like to thank the
National Trust and in particular the Calke
