The annual handicapped Club Championship is arranged as a thank you to all
members who help at club events throughout the year. It is free to enter, and
there is a minimum requirement for helpers, so you can just turn up and enjoy
yourself :)
Most people did - but the Short Course may have been a little too
physical.
My thanks to Ranald Macdonald for his patient and constructive Controlling of a
beginner Planner; to Viv Macdonald for organising the event and the
meal/village hall afterwards; to Neil Forrest for helping get you in line at
the Start; to Ann-Marie and Rachel for sorting all the controls and boxes
afterwards; to Mike Godfree for Download and to the four volunteers who stepped
forward to help collect controls.
The format of the day is not cast in stone and so, if you have any suggestions
for changes next year, please let me know.
