DVO has 15 top 3 places in the EM terrain league

Yesterday was the first event of the 2026 East Midlands League at LEI’s Grace Dieu & Cademan event, and therefore the certificate presentation for 2025’s top 3 male and female finishers on White to Brown. The four East Midlands clubs each host 4 events, and your points on a maximum of 7 of them count, full results here. Remember to start the year in the colour you mean to continue it though!

The next EM League event is NOC’s Thieves Wood on January 18th followed by LOG’s Harlaxton Manor on Febriary 8th. DVO’s first event in the League is Bow Wood & Lea Wood on March 22nd, newly mapped after 15 years fallow! Thieves Wood, Robin Hood & other history here (scroll down past the mountain biking bit).

As well as the League, don’t miss the East Midlands Championships at Longshaw North on Feb 15th. Your chance to bag one of the age-group trophies and run in one of DVO’s most secenic areas! Entries are open now on The Startkite (closing date Feb 8th, but please enter early if you can to help us predict map numbers).
