Many congratulations to Rachel Duckworth on her selection to represent GB at JWOC, which takes place in northern Portugal, 10–16 July. Rachel was selected for her performance in the JK in South Wales, and the Northern Championships in Dukeshouse Wood near Hexham.
Rachel will be running all disciplines and says that “the forest is very technical with lots of rock detail and paving. The sprint is in an old, quite steep and technical village.”
Having been unable to attend two international races last year due to Covid restrictions, Rachel says “I’m excited to get out and race in my first international competition for GB – let’s just hope I make it as far as the airplane this year!”
