About this event
Why not take on a new challenge? Come and join us for a series of smartphone-based events centred around Derby! These training sessions are accessible for all as the score format allows you to choose how many controls to collect within the hour.
[This is a Monday event so we can start from The Derby Runner, which will be open util 7pm.]
You will need a fully charged smartphone with downloaded MapRun app (clickable links below), suitable high vis clothing for pounding the roads and parks and a headtorch.
Why not invite your friends and relatives to get involved with the series. Help will be on-hand as the club has plenty of experienced MapRunners to get you started!
After the event, why not stay around for post-run social and let us know how you got on?
Print your map at home option – You can navigate using the MapRun map on your smartphone, and this is most people’s preferred option, but if you prefer to print out the map and plan your route: the map will appear here when it is ready!
Our blog post gives more information about this series. Check out photos from our previous series!
