Allestree Park offers varied terrain, with fast open areas, a lake, and wooded complex contoured areas in the west. Allestree Hall in the middle of the park is about to be restored for use as a wedding venue. To the south of the hall is a small area of formal garden with an ornamental pond.
This event is part of the East Midlands Orienteering League, with these course lengths:

Parking is signed from the A6, 2km north of the intersection with the A38 at Palm Court island. Please park considerately as members of the public use this car park. Marshalls may direct some people to park closer to the Hall.
Public toilets are available at Allestree Hall, 5–10 mins walk from here. Due to future building work, these may be closed and replaced by portable toilets.
Registration is also at the Hall, the Start 200m from there, and the Finish 250m. Registration will be open between 10 and 12 noon, come here to enter on the day, with payment by cash or card.
