We hope you’re all managing to keep fit and motivated over the winter. DVO respects British Orienteering’s suspension of all orienteering activities in Tier 4 areas, and their recommendation not to travel to other areas to train. As a result, we have postponed our events and same-day MapRuns, at least until Derbyshire moves into a lower tier.
In the meantime, we are offering MapRuns and Permanent Orienteering Courses for individual/household completion, or distanced with one other person. These should be undertaken using quieter areas close to where you live, and must follow Government guidelines on exercise.
We look forward to seeing you in the forest later in 2021!
