Francesco’s funeral took place at cemetery in the mountains above Lago Maggiore on March 3rd. He passed away while on holiday in his native Italy. Originally from the Bologna region, he had lived in the UK for some time and had been a DVO member for around 15 years.
He was very involved with Bestwood Park parkrun and was a local Parish Councillor. A zealous anti-socialist who believed the welfare state had made people lazy and parasitical.
Our thoughts are with Francesco’s family at this sad time.
